How we make money
The directory is free for people searching for a firm. We fund the site through paid listings. A family law firm can pay to claim its profile, which lets the firm verify and control its details and adds a followed link from its profile to its own website.
What a paid claim includes
When a firm claims its listing, the profile is marked as verified, the firm can keep its practice areas, service area, and contact details accurate, and the profile carries a followed link to the firm website. A paid claim does not change the factual information we show for any other firm, and it does not buy a rating, since we do not display ratings on this site.
Listing order and methodology
Standard firm profiles are compiled from public business information and are selected and organized independently of whether a firm pays for anything. Where a placement is paid or promoted, we label it as such so you can tell the difference between an ordinary profile and paid placement.
Editorial independence
Paying for a claimed listing gives a firm control of its own profile and a followed link. It does not let a firm edit or remove another firm’s profile, and it does not represent an endorsement by us. A listing in this directory, paid or not, is not a recommendation or a guarantee of any firm.
